Du Chao, a Wall Street banker with extensive experience in overseas IPO financing, has joined Xpeng Aeroht.

The manufacturing site will be used to produce the flying body portion of Xpeng Aeroht's modular flying car, with a planned annual capacity of 10,000 units.

Xpeng Aeroht has signed pre-order contracts with two companies for 150 modular flying cars worth nearly RMB 300 million ($42.8 million).

Xpeng Aeroht said it has received more than 1,000 pre-orders for its modular flying car, with more than 3,000 intended orders.
