Chinese startup WeRide to offer robotaxis on Uber, starting in UAE
Uber will start offering WeRide's robotaxis first in Abu Dhabi by the end of this year. The partnership does not involve the US and Chinese markets.
Uber, BYD partner to bring 100,000 EVs to ride hailing platform globally
The partnership starts with Europe and Latin America and will also expand to markets including the Middle East, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. They will also work together to develop future BYD autonomous vehicles.
