Beijing Benz is recalling 13,447 locally produced EQC vehicles starting September 27, 2025.

Due to production process issues, the power batteries in these vehicles pose a risk of overheating.

Some vehicles in the recall have fire risk due to battery reliability and control strategy issues in the battery management system software.

The bolts inside the motor controller of some of the cars may not be locked properly, which in extreme cases may lead to smoke and fire.

Xiaomi EV has been hit with 255 complaints over faulty parking assistance software.

The software issues include reverse camera not displaying and steering assistance being limited.

Tesla is recalling 77,650 locally built cars in China for a faulty tire pressure monitoring system, as well as 63 imported vehicles for airbag safety concerns.

A short circuit may occur inside the power battery module of some of the vehicles included in this recall, which in extreme cases may lead to thermal runaway of the battery module.

BYD is recalling 96,714 Dolphin and Yuan Plus vehicles in China starting September 30, for fire risk due to manufacturing process.

Some of the vehicles included in the recall may have a roof trim panel with insufficient primer, which in extreme cases can come off the vehicle.
