Nio has signed a dealer in Armenia, differing from its practice of appointing distributors in multiple other overseas markets.

In overseas markets, Nio will also collaborate with partners to build battery swap stations to reduce spending.

The first models to be launched in these new markets will include vehicles from the Nio, Onvo, and Firefly brands.

Firefly is positioned by Nio as a premium small car brand, with its most direct competitors including the BMW Mini and Mercedes-Benz Smart.

Firefly will leverage the details of HERE's global maps, including connected navigation and ADAS.

Nio is expected to enter the Hong Kong market in the fourth quarter and will work with a distributor to sell cars, according to a local media report.

Nio has announced its entry into four new markets: Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, and Bulgaria. Additionally, it will transition to a distributor-based sales model in Denmark.

Nio has signed a distributor deal with Greek company Motodynamics to sell Nio and Firefly brand vehicles in Greece, Cyprus, and Bulgaria.

Two Firefly product managers have set off from Berlin, Germany, and will travel through seven countries: Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, and Austria.
