GAC Aion's new plant goes into operation with annual capacity of 200,000 cars
The Changsha plant is GAC Aion's third, and its other two plants have a combined annual capacity of 400,000 vehicles.

Following the completion of this expansion project, the plant's production efficiency has increased by 45 percent and customization capacity has increased by 35 percent, GAC Aion said.

GAC Aion expects to invest about RMB 500 million in the initiative, which is scheduled to double its capacity by early 2022.
