Neta's decline in December deliveries was a surprise, as several of its local peers reported record deliveries earlier today.

Neta E will be the first real sports car that young people in China can own, and it will be mass-produced and delivered in the first half of 2023, Hozon Auto CEO said.

Neta's electric sports car, the Neta E, is available in a two-motor version as well as two single-motor version, each with a maximum power of 170 kW.

Neta on Tuesday released several posters hinting that its electric sports car may not be far from release. This comes after spy photos of its sports car have been circulating on social media.

From January to November, Neta delivered a total of 144,278 vehicles, up 142.3 percent year-on-year.

From January to October, Neta's cumulative deliveries were 129,206 vehicles, up 160.84 percent from 49,534 vehicles in the same period last year.

Neta's flagship sedan, the Neta S, is powered by Huawei's MDC610 computing platform, and the Neta U-II, announced earlier this month, uses Horizon Robotics' Journey 3 chip.

Previously, models using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip in the smart cockpit cost twice as much as the model from Neta.

Neta currently offers budget EVs Neta V and Neta U in China, with deliveries of its flagship sedan Neta S expected to begin in the fourth quarter.

Neta's flagship sedan, the Neta S, has more than 10,000 units on order, and test rides and test drives for the model will be open starting in September.
