As the global war for NEV market share intensifies, the company could get an edge through its joint venture with US-European auto giant Stellantis.

Leapmotor co-founder and president Wu Baojun has left the company, which will no longer have a president position, according to local media.

This is the latest investment Leapmotor has received after announcing a 1.5 billion euro investment from Stellantis on October 26, with the subscription price a 70 percent premium to its closing price in Hong Kong today.

The C10 is available in BEV and EREV versions, and Leapmotor said 40 percent of customers chose the highest configuration.

The Leapmotor C10 is available in both EREV and BEV versions, with pre-sale prices roughly half that of Li Auto's Li L7 EREV.

Leapmotor will showcase its in-house developed technologies at an event on January 10, when pre-sales of its first global model, the C10, will begin.

Earlier today, Leapmotor announced promotions available for December, including up to RMB 17,000 in cash discounts, RMB 5,000 in option funds.

One day after announcing discounts of up to RMB 10,000 for its least expensive model, the T03, Leapmotor announced benefits including loan interest subsidies for two other models.

Leapmotor announced October deliveries of a record 18,202 vehicles before the Hong Kong stock market opened today, in what appears to be one of its attempts to calm investors down.

Leapmotor's founding team has pledged not to transfer or reduce their stake in the company in any way over the next 10 years.
