In July, Xiaomi SU7 deliveries will remain over 10,000 units, Xiaomi EV said.
Xiaomi EV, the car-making arm of Xiaomi (HKG: 1810, OTCMKTS: XIACY), delivered more than 10,000 units last month, hitting a previously announced short-term target.
In June 2024, Xiaomi SU7 deliveries exceeded 10,000 units, Xiaomi EV announced on Weibo today, without revealing a specific number.
In July, Xiaomi SU7 deliveries will still exceed 10,000 units, Xiaomi EV said.
Hong Kong-listed Xiaomi is expected to announce the exact SU7 delivery figure in an exchange announcement in the coming days.
If the exact figure is 10,000 units, it would mean that Xiaomi SU7 deliveries in June were up 15.66 percent from May, bringing cumulative deliveries to 25,764 units, CnEVPost's calculations show.
Xiaomi launched its first EV model, the SU7, on March 28, offering three variants -- standard, Pro, and Max -- with starting prices of RMB 215,900 ($29,700), RMB 245,900, and RMB 299,900, respectively.
Deliveries of the standard and Max versions of the SU7 began on April 3, and deliveries of the SU7 Pro began in May.
On May 15, Xiaomi EV said it completed delivery of its 10,000th SU7. On June 13, deliveries of the model reached 20,000 units.
Xiaomi's SU7 deliveries will top 10,000 units in a single month in June, and for the full year it aims to secure 100,000 deliveries and challenge the 120,000-unit delivery target, Xiaomi EV said on June 14, repeating goals previously mentioned by Xiaomi's management.
The model has been facing capacity bottlenecks since its launch, with it gaining unprecedented acceptance.
Customers who currently order the Xiaomi SU7 have to wait about 30 weeks for delivery, while the highest-priced Max variant has a lead time of up to 34 weeks, according to data monitored by CnEVPost.
